Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper had his best day as a pro, catching 11 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns, breaking two team records, in the Browns’ 36-22 win over Houston Texans.

Most receiving yards in a game so far this season are Chicago’s J. Moore in Week 5.

Cooper broke the Browns record for receiving yards in a game (Josh Gordon, 261) and became the first Cleveland player to pass 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons.

His 252 receiving yards surpassed his previous high of 226 yards as a member of the Dallas Cowboys in 2019.

One of Cooper’s six highlights of the day was his 75-yard touchdown reception on Flacco’s bomb that gave the Browns a 14-0 lead with 12:16 left in the first half.

Flacco finished with 368 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in the win.

According to NFL NextGen Stats, Cooper gained over 150 yards on vertical routes outside of today’s game, the most in a game over the last five seasons.

Cooper, who was traded from Dallas to Cleveland in the 2022 season, became one of the Browns’ all-time leading receivers in two seasons.

Before Sunday’s game, he had a career-high 139 receptions for 2,145 yards in 31 games. action:
