SAD NEWS: Browns lose another starter to an injury

The Browns lose another starter to injury Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. sat out Sunday’s game after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.

Another day, another kickoff this Sunday as the Cleveland Browns take on the Houston Texans.

The Browns released their pregame injury report on Friday.

Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. isn’t the only one.

Although he was left off the roster, the club later revealed that Walker had undergone arthroscopic knee surgery, keeping him out for the entire week.

Walker missed last week’s game against the Chicago Bears with an injury, but when asked about it earlier this week, he said, “I’m fine. I’ll be fine.”

Obviously Walker was answered in large part because it wasn’t a big deal, but it’s still hard not to send him to another game or worse.

Even on a Browns team that did more than hug the next person.

The philosophy of this season. At various points this season, the Browns have been without key players such as Walker, left tackle Joel Bitonio, center Ethan Pocic and cornerbacks Denzel Ward and Greg Newsome II.

The club also had several starters placed on injured reserve at the end of the season, including quarterback Deshaun Watson, running back Nick Chubb, offensive linemen Jack Conklin and Jedrick Wills Jr., running backs Grant Delpit and Rodney McLeod and defensive end Maurice Hurst II.

I saw it land.In addition to Walker, the Browns have ruled out defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo with a chest injury, tight end Juan Wu with a calf injury and linebacker Jordan Kunashik with a calf injury for Sunday’s game against Texas.

Bitonio is questionable as he is still dealing with a back injury that kept him out of last week’s game against the Bears.
