DL and five-star Alabama target Eddrick Houston CONFIRMED his decision.

Eddrick Houston is a five-star defensive lineman and one of the top players in Georgia’s 2024 recruiting class.

He committed to Ohio State in August, but received late pressure from Alabama and tried to reschedule his commitment on early signing day.

Some in the industry expected Houston to finish and finish in Tuscaloosa.

247 Sports Director of Football Steve Wiltfong posted his crystal ball predictions on Nick Saban’s show Wednesday morning.

In the end, Houston stuck with Ryan Day’s commitment to the Buckeyes and confirmed he will sign with Ohio State.

The announcement came during Day’s initial signing day press conference.

Dye even interrupted the press conference for a few minutes to take calls from the media.

It was assumed that the call came from the Houston camp, and the coach was even asked if the call came from Houston Buford High School.

Dai smiled and declined to comment. Whether or not that call was Houston-related is debatable, but the DL star was indeed headed to Columbus.

Houston is a quarterback at Buford (GA) High School and is 6-foot-1, 265 pounds.

The 247Sports Composite ranks Houston as the nation’s No. 5 DL and No. 26 overall prospect in the 2024 recruiting cycle.
