Recruiting is never a bad time for the Crimson Tide, but things look promising for the 2024 class. They started the day with 22 verbal commitments, including three five-star players.

Alabama is currently ranked third, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Georgia and Ohio State are the only programs ahead of the SEC champion. Be on the lookout for speculation about who Saban and his staff could land in the early signing period with players already under contract.

Quarterback Julian Sayin, the No. 5 prospect in the 2024 class, is the crown jewel of Alabama’s freshman class. He could provide a solution to what has been the Crimson Tide’s biggest problem this season.

Jalen Milroe has come on strong after a slow start, but Saban will be looking for stability at the position next year.

Greg Biggins of 247Sports said Saiin is a player with the talent and skill to step in as a starter right away.“Sain has been one of the best players in the state since his sophomore year.

He is a pure pitcher and can come in early and be ready to make a game for all 24 callers. He has a very high football IQ, knows the position very well and understands throws with timing and anticipation.

He has great pocket mobility and short-range speed. He can avoid pressure and buy time in his own pocket or take off and run when needed.

He is very accurate in all three phases of the field, has a solid release and throws very well from the platform and with a variety of arm angles.”Jalen Hurts remains the only true freshman to enter the season as Alabama’s starting quarterback in the Saban era.

Milo’s growth was enough to secure a starting spot in 2024, but Sain will have to deal with plenty of early-game reps in his career.

The rest of the recruiting class is an example of why the Crimson Tide is one of the best teams in the country every year.

They add elite players at skill positions and in the trenches. Wide receiver Ryan Williams could be an immediate impact player.

His skills may also be familiar to Alabama fans, as Gabe Brooks of 247Sports compared him to Calvin Ridley for his “incredible top speed and ability to miss.”Early Signing Date Predictions 2/2 USA – OCTOBER 3: Aerial view of the University of Alabama football stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

For all of Fisher’s shortcomings during his time with the Aggies, recruiting certainly wasn’t one of them. They are among the top 10 recruiting teams in 2022, including the No. 1 overall pick.

Offensive lineman Cohen Echols, wide receiver Cam Coleman and tight end Gabriel Reliford have all been traded or waived by Texas A&M in recent weeks.
