A taste of Cleveland’s regime-defining journey

I wrote the following about the Bears’ trip to Detroit: “This game at Motown could be one of Matthew Eberflus’ last chances to show that the Bears are using Chicago’s power.

He looked the same ever since.This defense shoots the QB fearlessly and keeps an eye on the QB by carefully executing coverage assignments.

It’s beautiful to look at.This Chicago offense falters at times, but between each burst Justin Fields, DJ Moore and Cole Kmet make explosive plays that move the ball up the field where the defense needs to score.

Combine the two parts and you have a winning recipe. So, against all odds, it’s the Chicago Bears making a playoff push.

But the Bears, who are 5-8 at this point in the year, will need to win every game from here on out if they have any hope of making the playoffs.

Fortunately, they face a devastating Cleveland Browns team this weekend.

Because of the injury. As you can see below, this is the raw form of the order.

Matt Eberflus has a chance to send Chicago to the opener by beating a weakened team on the road and advancing to the playoffs.

Everything after that is about Eberflus and I expect him to be a coach.

This will make Bears football even more exciting and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
