The Bills’ playoff chances are improving.

Week 14 Winner: Backup QB Rule Day; Legislative proposal improves playoff chances Now that the Week 14 games are almost over, let’s take a look at the NFL’s biggest winners.

Jake Browning, QB, Cincinnati Bengals.

After leading the Bengals to a surprise win in Jacksonville on Monday night, Browning bounced back with another stellar performance in a 34-14 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Those two wins put the Bengals back in the AFC wild card race after being nearly eliminated by Joe Burrow’s injury.

Not only did Browning lead the Bengals to two wins, but he was dominant and incredibly accurate.Joe Flacco, QB, Cleveland Browns.

A few weeks ago, Joe Flacco left the NFL and waited for his chance. He is now the starting quarterback for a playoff contender.

Flacco threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns to help the Browns beat the Jaguars 311-27 on Sunday.

It was so good that coach Kevin Stefanski announced after the game that the offense is now part of the rest of the season.

Flacco joined the Browns after Deshaun Watson’s season-ending injury and made his first start when Dorian Thompson-Robinson suffered a concussion.Chicago Bears.

A playoff spot is out of the question for the Bears at this point, but they won’t go down without a fight.

He also currently enjoys the best of both worlds. After Sunday’s win over Detroit, they’ve won three of their last four games, played competitive football and still hold the No. 1 in the draft.

That’s because they’re the Carolina Panthers’ top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft class, and with another loss on Sunday, the Panthers are 1-12, two games behind every other NFL team with four games remaining.

The Bears can still win and still get the first pick. This is the best.

Zack Wilson, QB, New York Jets. Wilson has been criticized for the Jets offense.

But if you criticize him when he plays badly, you should give him credit when he plays well. He played well on Sunday.

He regained his starting job and led the Jets to a surprising 30-6 victory over the Houston Texans, throwing for 301 yards and two touchdowns in what could be one of the best games of the his career.

That performance helped the Jets snap a five-game losing streak.Buffalo Bills Playoff Odds.

The Bills are one of the teams locked in the AFC wild card race at 7-6, and Sunday’s 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs was a huge win for them.

Had they lost this game, they would have fallen even further in the rankings and would have faced the underwhelming Dallas Cowboys the following week.

Their ability to shut down the Chiefs offense earned them a big win over one of the AFC’s top rivals and put them back in the playoffs.

Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton.

Payton was hit early in the season given the Broncos’ early struggles.

Especially after his preseason revelation about former Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett.

No one laughs at him anymore. The Broncos improved to 7-6 with a 24-7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday and took another step toward the playoffs.

Payton helped quarterback Russell Wilson find his stride and the Broncos defense played dominant, turnover-driven football to help them go 6-1 in their last seven games.

San Francisco 49ers player. Quarterback Brock Purdy is playing MVP-caliber football for the 49ers, but he’s getting plenty of help from the team’s qualifying players.

They all scored in Sunday’s 28-16 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Christian McCaffrey rushed for 145 yards on just 16 carries, and receivers Deebo Samuel and Brandon Ayuk both topped 100 yards.

George Kittle also had a good day with three catches for 76 yards.

The 49ers have one of the most complete rosters in the league, and they showed why on Sunday.
