Joe Flacco went on to earn a starting gig for the rest of the season and earn his name in the NFL record books.

Flacco led the Browns to their 100th career win with a 31-27 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

He became the 19th QB in history to reach 100 wins and the 10th in the Hall of Fame.

Tom Brady (251), who heads to Canton soon after, still holds the all-time record with 251 wins.

The 16-year vet looked like his old self in Week 14, completing 26 of 45 for 311 yards with three touchdowns and an interception.

According to Stathead, Flacco is the 14th QB over 38 to throw for at least 311 yards and three touchdowns in a game and the first since Brady (2022) to have 31 such games in his career.

The Browns improved to 8-5 with the win over the Jaguars, and after the game, coach Kevin Stefanski named Flacco the starter for the final four games of the regular season.

Despite the good news, Flacco credited the Browns’ defense with the win, calling their performance “empty” and saying he’ll have to rely on it the rest of the way.

He humbly admits that being back on the field makes him feel young again.

“There were a lot of times when I felt like a 10-year-old kid,”

Flacco told CBS Sports’ Evan Washburn.

“It asks us to remember how special it is to be able to play this game.”

Without QB Deshaun Watson, many thought the Browns season was over.

But after a big win for Flacco and company, they find themselves in AFC playoff contention.

How things will play out over time is anyone’s guess, but the Browns could have a chance to have a former Super Bowl MVP lead the way.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson made his long-awaited return on Sunday, but his return was less than half-way through as he suffered another injury against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jefferson left Sunday’s game in the second quarter with what the team described as a chest injury.

Initially questionable, he was removed from the game at halftime and the Vikings announced he would be taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

efferson has not played since Week 5 due to an ongoing injury.

The Vikings were very cautious about bringing him back and wanted to avoid another injury, despite the fact that he needed to return as quickly as possible.

Finally, I ran into trouble because this new injury didn’t seem to have anything to do with the tendon.

Jefferson had two catches for 27 yards before being ruled out of Sunday’s game.
