Sad news from Cleveland Browns…

After another loss in Pittsburgh and Nick Chubb’s knee injury, Browns fans’ hopes were dashed again.

The team confirmed that he will undergo surgery. Chubb hit Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in the second quarter of Monday’s game.

“So along comes Nick Chubb, who suddenly doesn’t care.

His teammates came to his aid and he said goodbye to them,” said our sports commentator Terry Pluton.

Pluto told fans it was hard to see Chubb hurt. “The thing about Nick Chubb is, even though some of the players may look out of breath, they’re on the court and they’re drama queens.

“Nothing bothers me.” Chubb said proudly. “I’m standing,” he said.

I saw him there and suddenly he took off his helmet and couldn’t move.

When they got in front of him, I thought, “This is bad,” Pluto said. The hit left Chubb with a broken left knee, which he had surgery to repair at Georgia in 2015.

“And he tore three different ligaments. In fact, that’s one of the reasons why they don’t train at a higher level than they should,” Pluto said.

This is a huge blow to the Browns both on and off the field.

“He’s been with the Browns since 2018. I’ve never had a negative email, negative tweet or negative comment from a fan about Nick Chubb.

It is very difficult to convince someone of anything. But there are casual fans, hardcore fans, new age fans and old fans.

They all agreed. Nick Chubb was a great running back and a great kid and seems like a great person.

Even Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin said, “We have to stop Mr. Chubb.” Trust me. It was a term of endearment.

Chubb is everything to the Cleveland Browns,” Pluto said.

Suddenly, Pluto said, his first win over the Bengals seems like a distant memory. “Because this isn’t just a loss, it’s Chubb’s loss,” Pluto said.

“And you know, it’s like losing the best running back in the NFL. This is only half the story. You’ve lost the best man at the club.”

The team will now rely on backup Jerome Ford and could have another defenseman, according to Pluto.

But he said the weight will fall on the shoulders of quarterback Deshaun Watson, who struggled against Pittsburgh.

“He seemed very angry with me. Here’s what I’ve noticed since it got here: I like to call it a lack of balance,” Pluto said.

“He said, ‘What are they doing there?’ They call it game speed. Tell him what you want.

(He) is not as confident as he was before with all his personal problems.Pluto said Watson’s performance was especially important because the defense was so good.

“The Browns defense has allowed one touchdown in two games.

They don’t need Deshaun Watson to be great. We need Deshaun Watson to make really good plays without being destructive.

“If he can do that, they can be very good,” he said. The Browns are currently 1-1 and return home on Sunday to host the Tennessee Titans (1-1). Pluto said it was a big game.

“I think it’s a big deal because we lost at home to the Titans, who are a mediocre team, and Deshaun Watson played poorly.

You know how Browns fans are, right? they are nervous Everyone loves Chubb.

“He’s hurt.” Pluto said. “Then they thought if Watson had played well, they would have won the game.

It was not like that. So I’m against him. As you know, a lot depends on the coach, but I’ll make it clear that I want to see Deshaun Watson play as a B quarterback.
