After another loss in Pittsburgh and Nick Chubb’s knee injury, Browns fans’ hopes were dashed again.
The team confirmed that he will undergo surgery. Chubb hit Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in the second quarter of Monday’s game.
“So along comes Nick Chubb, who suddenly doesn’t care.

“And you know, it’s like losing the best running back in the NFL. This is only half the story. You’ve lost the best man at the club.”
The team will now rely on backup Jerome Ford and could have another defenseman, according to Pluto.
But he said the weight will fall on the shoulders of quarterback Deshaun Watson, who struggled against Pittsburgh.
“He seemed very angry with me. Here’s what I’ve noticed since it got here: I like to call it a lack of balance,” Pluto said.
“He said, ‘What are they doing there?’ They call it game speed. Tell him what you want.
(He) is not as confident as he was before with all his personal problems.Pluto said Watson’s performance was especially important because the defense was so good.
“The Browns defense has allowed one touchdown in two games.
They don’t need Deshaun Watson to be great. We need Deshaun Watson to make really good plays without being destructive.
“If he can do that, they can be very good,” he said.The Browns are currently 1-1 and return home on Sunday to host the Tennessee Titans (1-1). Pluto said it was a big game.
