Three Browns players are unsure about the Jags’ massive game.

While the NFL world anxiously awaits news on the status of Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, the Cleveland Browns are dealing with multiple injuries ahead of Sunday’s opener against the Jags.

Browns Wire’s Cory Keenan reports. The Jaguars and Browns are tied for fourth and fifth, respectively, in the AFC playoffs.

Amari Cooper, the Browns’ leading receiver this season, was limited in practice Friday after Wednesday and Thursday’s sessions. His availability to play is questionable due to a rib injury.

He is also participating in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Cornerback Denzel Ward is tied with Martin Emerson Jr.

Team leader Lee, who has two interceptions this season, was held out of practice all week with a shoulder injury.

He is also classified as a suspect. Finally, rookie quarterback DaVand Jones, who is making an impressive NFL debut this season, missed practice all week and was listed as questionable on Sunday.suggestionJaguars, BrownsBenedetto Vitale ·

21 hours ago”He hurt his knee,” Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Friday. “

We’ll see what happens in the next 24 hours.

“Commenting on the injuries in the receiving unit, Stefanski added, “Yeah, I think with the concussion protocols you have to allow for that and trust the medical staff.

I think they both tried their best to come back and sometimes it took longer than they wanted.

But the bottom line is that you shouldn’t be too hasty. Having Dorian and Amari back will be good for our football team.
