The Browns have yet to select Joe Flacco or Dorian Thompson-Robinson as their QB-QB pick.

There is uncertainty at quarterback on both sides of Sunday’s game between the Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson practiced outside the concussion protocol on Friday, forcing the team to choose between him and NFL veteran Joe Flacco.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Thursday the team will not officially name a starter.

Asked why an official choice had not been made, Stefanski said: “Maybe the best way to say it is impossible.”

For the Jaguars, it will be a game-time decision after quarterback Trevor Lawrence suffered a sprained ankle in Monday night’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Deshaun Watson was the Browns’ QB1 until he tore his shoulder against the Baltimore Ravens, an injury that required surgery.

As a result, Thompson-Robinson and veteran backup PJ Walker saw action.

A fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, started with two losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos.

He suffered a head injury in the last match.

He went 1-2 overall in his starts and led the Browns to the game-winning touchdown in a 13-10 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on November 19. Flacco signed with the Browns shortly after the win and made his Browns debut on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.

Flacco, a former Super Bowl MVP with the Baltimore Ravens in 2012, completed 23 of 44 passes for 254 yards.

He had two touchdowns and an interception in the fourth quarter in the 36-19 loss.

No one will get the nod Sunday from wide receiver Amari Cooper, who entered concussion protocol during the Rams’ game.

Both players said they were ready for the results.”I think once you get a taste of football, you want to keep doing it as long as possible,”

Flacco said when asked about the starting role Thompson-Robinson said make an appointment and they’ll be ready.

“When my number is called, I’m ready to go,” Thompson-Robinson said Friday, via ESPN

At 7-5 this season, the Browns are still in the playoffs despite their quarterback issues.
