Brown’s Joe Flacco, “Stay Where You Are”

When Joe Flacco talks, it’s hard not to notice that he’s enjoying and loving every minute of his return to the NFL.

On Thursday, he met with the media to discuss the process of getting this Browns team into the playoffs.

Imagine if you said that sentence in 2016, no one would believe you.

But that’s the reality, and the reality for the Cleveland Browns is that they’re in the thick of the playoffs.

Even after two straight losses, the Browns remain 7-5 ahead of several teams fighting for a wild card spot.

While he’s nowhere near his prime yet, Joe Flacco showed in Sunday’s loss that he still has a lot of good football left in him and is a perfect fit for what the Browns are trying to do this season.

He has breathed new life into this Browns team and the entire group believes in him.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports He met with the media Thursday afternoon before the Browns play the Jaguars on Sunday.

He was asked about the responsibility of leading this team to the playoffs. He had something to say.

Flacco praises the importance of staying in the present rather than looking ahead through all the tasks these people are responsible for in a given week.

He explains that worrying too much about the result won’t prepare your team to put themselves in a position to win on Sunday.

It was great to see the 38-year-old make the most of this opportunity.

Every time I see him at a press conference, he’s always smiling and enjoying every moment.

If he can keep it up, it will put the Browns in good position for Sunday and down the road this season.
