Cleveland Browns News 12/7: Defense Diets, Pocic Falls on Sword, Fans ConcernedOBR Newswire Bloviation

 Cleveland Browns fans!

Welcome to another week where we ask who will be the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski was embarrassed when Flacco-friendly media asked him to announce his decision.

Whether it was play, indecision or a desire to discuss decisions with his players first, Stefanski refused to participate as a quarterback.

Joe Flacco and Dorian Thompson-Robinson aren’t sure what to do Sunday around 1 p.m.

The poor manager managed to get away without being too obvious as Dorian Thompson-Robinson was able to train yesterday despite being in the concussion protocol.

Flacco, meanwhile, continues to receive praise from the media despite his stunning fourth-quarter performance in his first game last Sunday.

The consensus is that Flacco will get the nod, but we’ll likely have to wait until Friday to find out. Stefanski will not speak to the media on Thursday.

The seemingly inevitable decision won’t be announced until now unless offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt shakes things up.

The media will hear from Denzel Ward on Thursday, so we’ll know more about his injury.

It will be interesting to see if Amari Cooper talks as he did not practice yesterday despite being in the building.

If so, we’ll have an idea if he’ll get a chance to play on Sunday. In my opinion, none of this will generate much conversation and debate on the OBR forums.

I don’t think anyone can relate to the sentiments of Browns fans better than me because I look at the stats on our website daily.

There isn’t much buzz around the Browns right now after two weeks of losses on the West Coast and significantly reduced coverage there.

Objectively speaking, the OBR editorial team produced some great content this week, but our numbers fell to their lowest level in the week since the watch.

I think it’s clear to many that this is a solid team, but not a Super Bowl team. So I guess some Browns fans have shifted focus.

You don’t buy yourself these Christmas presents.Win or lose, Dwayne Rudd’s helmet bounces across the field for this team.

We’ll see if we can take this team to the playoffs and give that experience to the guys on the roster.

The team may be under scrutiny as the 2024 season approaches, and we wonder what Andrew Berry can do this offseason.

If this season is full of “what if” questions, the offseason will be full of intrigue.

We then move on to an exercise in analyzing the Browns situation compared to the rest of the AFC and whether you prefer the Browns situation in the conference or another franchise.
