The Denver Broncos are over .500 for the first time this season.

They currently hold a 6-5 record after defeating the Cleveland Browns 29-12 on Sunday.

This team believes in itself and it shows on the football field.

They’ve won five in a row and the Broncos haven’t played their best football yet.

The Browns are an incredibly physical team and the Broncos took care of business at home and picked up another win.

After the game, Payton acknowledged how tough the Browns were.

“Let’s figure out where to start. I think we felt it was going to be a very physical game for the team.

I had a lot of respect for this team. They obviously had a very good experience here.

The way they play defense and the way they rush the football – I felt the numbers at the end of this game were going to be very important.

Thanks to our defensive players. (Defensive coordinator) Vance (Joseph) and his staff, we have a tougher front trying to take away one of their strengths.

Fortunately, they took the lead early in the first half and ended their third straight loss.

I seem to have lost 4 weeks in a row. I was better in the red zone.

After building an early lead, the Browns pulled away.

They ran the ball more than any team in the NFL, but were forced to give it up as the Broncos capitalized on time of possession with a quick offense and consistent scoring.

Javonte Williams leads the way on the court, but it was nice to see Samaje Perine see more action.

The Broncos have a duo that can disrupt defenses throughout the game.

When the NFL calendar turns to December, teams begin to change their plans.

They started playing playoff football, which meant running the ball more.

It’s good that the Broncos are playing as well as they should as they advance in the playoffs.
