‘Disgusting!!!’: What Eric Metcalf and others had to say after Brown’s loss to Broncos

Cleveland Browns vs Denver Broncos, November 26, 2023CLEVELAND, Ohio —

The Browns endured a tough, error-filled afternoon in Denver on Sunday, leading the Broncos to a 29-12 victory.

In the game, the Browns lost rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson to a concussion, Jordan Elliott to an ankle injury and Amari Cooper to a rib injury.

Before the injury, Thompson-Robinson completed 29 of 134 passes for 14 yards and his first NFL touchdown.

The protection of Armaks was difficult to place bronocos on the ground when Denver was 169 meters and two titles. QB Russell added a passage.

On the other side of the ball, the Broncos and their red-hot defense took the ball away from the Browns three times, all leading to fumbles.

The Browns fall to 7-4 on the season and will spend another week out west before traveling to Los Angeles to host the Rams.

Here’s what was said on social media following the loss:

More Cleveland Browns coverage”So Flacco next week, right?” Fourth QB in 12 games for a 7-4 football team.

“This is the most surprising collection of great football seasons for the Cleveland Browns,” wrote Cody Suke of the Orange and Brown Report.

“They lost Nick Chubb in the second game. They play different quarterbacks every week and one of them (PJ Walker) isn’t even at the NFL level.

If Joe Flacco starts next week, he will become the fourth starter in 12 games.

“It’s amazing they’re 7-4 and not 0-12,” wrote Jordan Zirm of the Sporting News.“

The Browns played 16 times against the worst defense in the league.

This is a must-have game plan. Take a shower today. The coach was having a bad day. It’s just bad.

You’re 7-4 and we’ll all be signed up when the season starts. “I’m going to Los Angeles.” wrote Fox College Basketball announcer John Fanta.

“Injuries have been the story this season. The #Browns have struggled at every level all year,” WEWS-TV’s Camryn Justice said.

“It was very good all year, especially at Stefanski/Schwartz. But today was the Payton/Joseph clinic.

What was the game plan? Anyone who knows the competition knew today was going to be tough (you’ve seen the show, right?).

They have their flaws, but Miles/Cooper shouldn’t be limited at all,” said Anthony Lima of 92.3 The Fan.“1) Today’s defense was drafted by Russell Wilson. 2) Greg Newsome struggles without Denzel Ward. 3) The team is currently in a vulnerable state.

There are many injured. 4) They are unbearable. DTR looked good and should play next week if healthy.

If not it’s Flacco time lol. Today is no fun,” wrote Grant Puskar of the Take the Points podcast.

“I appreciate PJ Walker’s willingness to turn the ball over at least twice a game despite only playing one quarter,” Nick Wilson told 92.3 The Fan.”I’m P.J.

Walker is stuck. They said Flacco will be on the active roster at some point. Go ahead and make Walker the right guy,” wrote Brandon Little of A to Z Sports.

“That’s cost control. The Browns are still 7-4. However, injuries to Myles Garrett and Amari Cooper are a big concern.

Those guys should have Cleveland because of the QB situation that isn’t getting better.

The NFL season is a war of attrition. The Browns have it,” says Bleacher Report’s Brett Soblski.

“I thought his DTR was pretty good before the injury, so hopefully he’ll stick to the protocol.

I think it gives you the best chance to win and has the best upside.

He takes care of the ball well, picks and throws well and is a top athlete,” said YouTube personality Quincy Carrier.

“Watching The Big Lebowski and trying not to think about what happened this afternoon,” wrote Ken Carman of 92.3 The Fan.

“The Browns could be without a top-five player next week and start Joe Flacco at quarterback,” said Ben Axelrod of Awful Annancing.
