Injury Report, Updated Odds( 11/25): Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Philadelphia 76ers

The Oklahoma City Thunder is short underdogs to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.

The Oklahoma City Thunder is facing an opportunity to win its seventh game in a row as the team hosts the Philadelphia 76ers at 4 p.m. CT at Paycom Center.

Both teams have double-digit wins so far this season, though the 76ers have taken two straight losses.

This could be a huge win for the Thunder, as a seven-game wins streak would extend their record to 12-4 on the season.

A battle between Joel Embiid, the reigning MVP, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is in the MVP conversation, is going to be a potentially entertaining one.

This game will also be a huge test for Chet Holmgren and his ability to play against physically dominant centers.

Injury Report:

Lindy Waters III, Questionable (back)

Jalen Williams, OUT (hip)

Terquavion Smith, OUT (G League)

Javonte Smart, OUT (G League)

Kelly Oubre Jr., OUT (fractured rib)

Ricky Council IV, OUT (G League)

Joel Embiid, Probable (hip)

Danuel House Jr., Questionable (quad)

It’s interesting to see Jalen Williams remains out, and it’ll be interesting how soon he’s able to return to practice without any soreness. His impact will be missed in this matchup, as added shot creation never hurts in a game where the Thunder is taking on a well-rounded team.

For the 76ers, one has to assume Embiid will make his return to the court, providing a big challenge for the Thunder. Other than that, the 76ers are without some depth, though mostly to the G League.

Updated Odds:

The Thunder is short underdogs, and it’s not surprising with Embiid back in the mix of things and Williams remaining out. Williams’ impact can’t be overstated, and it’s easier to find short-term replacements and impacts, but eventually, it catches up to the team.

Still, according to the spread, the Thunder is a 1.5-point underdog. This game is expected to be a close one, and it could be fun if so.
