Concerns about the Chiefs’ receiving corps came to the fore in this game.

The ball bounced off his fingers and fumbled five yards into the end zone.

The Chiefs traded Hardman last month after the Jets signed him as a free agent last season.

Kansas City traded sixth and seventh round picks from the New York Jets for Hardman.

The deal reunites the 25-year-old with the team that selected him in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

His exploits as a punter in his rookie season with the Chiefs earned him a Pro Bowl and two Super Bowl wins with Kansas City.

Between the Jets and Chiefs this season, the former Georgia Bulldog has nine receptions on 13 targets for 47 yards.

After four games against Kansas City this season, Hardman ranks sixth among the team’s receivers.
