Aston Villa ace Ramsey updated shared by Injury Expert v Tottenham
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Aston Villa…
Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jacob Ramsey may be available for the Tottenham Hotspur game on 26 November, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims he could be re-integrated into the first team squad and make appearances off the bench for Unai Emery’s side.
The 22-year-old has been ruled out with an ankle injury and did face a setback in his recovery that delayed his timeline.
Speaking about his injury, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News:
“Sounds like he will be re-integrated into matches after the international break with bounce matches.
“Considering he had a setback, they will likely be even more methodical with his return to play.
“He can expect minutes off the bench in their next game now.”
Ramsey last featured for Villa on 30 September and has played just 49 minutes of Premier League football this season.
He was nursing an injury even before that and has not been available for Emery’s side ever since then.
The Spaniard will be hoping that he returns to action soon as the Englishman made 35 Premier League appearances for Villa last term.
Where he’ll play remains to be seen as Emery’s side have enjoyed a thrilling start to the season and find themselves in the battle for the top four.
