Nick Chubb undergoes second knee surgery; The Browns expect RB in 2024

BEREA, Ohio – Cleveland Browns All-Pro running back Nick Chubb underwent a second surgery scheduled Tuesday to repair ligament damage in his left knee

The Browns announced that surgery performed by head team physician James Voos successfully repaired the damage to Chubb’s ACL.

Chubb underwent initial surgery in late September to repair his medial capsule, meniscus and medial ligament.

The Browns reiterated that Chubb should be able to return to the team in the 2024 season. Chubb suffered a knee injury in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The injured left knee is the same one he had reconstructed after tearing his ACL, ACL and ACL during his time at Georgia in 2015.

The Browns will face the Steelers again next weekend.
