The Bills fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey on Tuesday morning.APCLEVELAND, Ohio  After more offensive struggles on Monday night vs. the Broncos, the Bills are making a change at offensive coordinator.

Buffalo announced on Tuesday it has fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, who played quarterback for the Browns from 2006 to 2008, and it promoted Joe Brady to interim offensive coordinator.

The Bills made Dorsey their offensive coordinator in 2022 after Brian Daboll was hired by the Giants as their head coach.

Even though they are in the top 10 in the NFL in most offensive categories including scoring (eighth), yards (seventh) and passing yards (seventh), the Bills are 5-5 after Monday night’s shocking 24-22 home loss to the Broncos.

The Bills have not scored 30 points in a game since putting up 48 vs. the Dolphins in Week 4.

A big problem for the Bills has been turnovers. They have 18 this season, only one behind the Browns for the most in the NFL.

Quarterback Josh Allen in particular has been a big part of that problem with a league-leading 11 interceptions.

The only other quarterbacks in double digits are Mac Jones of the Patriots and Jordan Love of the Packers.

Brady has been with the Bills since 2022 as their quarterbacks coach.

He’s most famous for being the offensive coordinator at LSU in 2019 when he helped guide Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson and the Tigers to a national championship, an undefeated season and made them one of the best offenses in the history of college football.

He was the offensive coordinator with the Panthers in 2021 and 2022, but his teams finished outside the top 20 both years in scoring offense.

The Bills are one of three teams sitting a half game behind the 5-4 Texans for the final playoff spot in the AFC.

The Bengals are also 5-4, but the Texans have that playoff spot for now because they beat the Bengals on Sunday, 30-27.
