Browns T Heron Christian and W.R. James has added the Proche II to his active training list.
The club also added WR Trinity Benson, S Vincent Gray and T Justin Murray to the practice squad and released TE Devin Asiasi from the practice squad.
Christian (6-5, 315) is in his sixth season at Louisville.
Originally a third-round pick out of Washington in 2018, Christian appeared in 16 of 49 games between the Commanders (2018-20), Texans (2021, 2023) and Chiefs (2022).
Appeared in just one game for Texas this season. He was named to the Browns’ practice squad in October. 31.
Christian wears number 64. Proche (5-11, 193) is in his fourth NFL season at SMU.
Originally a sixth-round pick out of Baltimore in 2020, he appeared in 44 games for the Ravens (2020-22) and Browns (2023).
He was released from the Browns’ practice squad before last week’s game and returned six punts 17 times for 55 yards.
Frosch wears number 11. Benson (6-0, 190) is officially a two-year starter for East Central.
Benson, who originally signed with Denver as a free agent in 2019, appeared in nine games, including two starts against the Lions.
In 2021, he has 10 receptions for 103 yards in eight games.
Gray (6-2, 192) is officially entering his first NFL season at Michigan.
Gray, who originally signed with New Orleans as a free agent in 2022, also spent the 2023 season with the Los Angeles Rams.
Murray (6-5, 315) is officially entering his fifth NFL season with Cincinnati.
Murray, who originally signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent in 2016, has appeared in 41 games with 20 starts between the Raiders (2018), Cardinals (2019-21), Bills (2022) and Titans (2023).
He has appeared in four games for the Titans this season.
