Marcos Acuna wants ‘a change of scenery’ as Aston Villa reportedly prepare for a January move.
Recent reports suggest that Sevilla are willing to allow Acuna to leave during the January transfer window, as the left-back has less than 18 months remaining on his current contract with the La Liga side.
Villa’s interest in the Argentine is long-standing, with the club considering a move last summer. However, a transfer never materialized, although Villa remain linked.
And now, Fichajes.net claims that Acuna is ready to leave the Spanish club. It is said that Villa will have to raise €15 million to seal a move for the defender.
The report adds that Sevilla “understands” that their left-back could soon move and “hopes” to make as much money as possible from a potential sale to strengthen their squad and replace a player who may be leaving. weaken them considerably.
Villa currently have Lucas Digne and Alex Moreno in their squad at left back. However, the latter suffered a long-term injury and is yet to feature for the club this season.
