Sad News From Cleveland …

Discontent in Cleveland grows over star QB. The Deshaun Watson saga continues at the Browns, as teammates question the extent of his shoulder injury – Overtime Heroics

There has been a rising dissonance between the Browns their mega bucks quarterback Deshaun Watson this season and it could cause ruffled feathers within the squad.

The strange vibe started after their week 3 romping 27-3 win against the Titans, in Watson’s best game of the season when the star QB pulled out of week 4 training with a shoulder injury.

Watson said he would take to the field in Friday night’s game against the Ravens but did not, and this struck an odd chord with his teammates.

The Browns are 4-2 yet still lie third in the tough AFC North Conference and will be away to the Seahawks in week 8.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski tried to clear the air by saying it was a “collective decision” but that only served to muddy the waters.

In fact, there has been a disconnect with the Browns from 2022 when he settled 20 sexual misconduct cases filed by masseuses and was suspended by the league for the first 11 games of 2022 as well as picking up a $5 million fine.

Watson signed a staggering guaranteed contract payout of $230 million with the Browns and they have yet to see any return on their investment.

PJ Walker had been in decent nick covering for Watson leading the Browns to two wins this season, the second after he came on early for Watson who picked up an injury.

The former Clemson quarterback has played through pain before, turning out in college ball with a torn ACL, before sacrificing plenty for the team that drafted him the Texans.

Whether he wants to stay in Cleveland is up in the air, but Watson better start delivering, or the fans and team will come down hard on the front office
