mverpool manager Jürgen Klopp could be backed by FSG in the transfer market to secure a lucrative deal for one of Europe’s most talented players, according to reports.

Liverpool updates: Gravenberch speaks out, Mousa Tamari, Alexander-Arnold’s role

In an interview with the Liverpool club’s official website, midfielder Ryan Gravenberch revealed which player he used as a role model for his game growing up:

“When I was young, I looked up to the greatest players like Messi and Ronaldo.

When I grew up.” “I was 17, 18 years old and I was watching video clips of Zinedine Zidane. If I have to choose one player, it will be Zinedine Zidane.

The Dutch midfielder also let the public know who his favorite former Liverpool player is, adding: “I would choose Steven Gerrard.” But I also played with him at FC Bayern, Sadio Mané. I think I have a few.

An update on Liverpool’s transfer of Montpellier striker Mousa Tamari has claimed the Reds are keeping tabs on the Jordan international ahead of the summer transfer window.

Reports suggest the 26-year-old could be deployed as a direct competitor or understudy to Liverpool star player Mohamed Salah at Anfield;

However, it remains to be seen whether an agreement can be reached.

Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander Arnold, as quoted by 90min, has spoken about his best position and admitted he is not entirely sure where he is most effective on the pitch. Alexander-Arnold explained:

“People see that I could be more effective in the middle of the field.” It could be the way for the future.

But who knows? It’s not my decision. I can only be played in the position assigned to me.

But thanks to the conversations I’ve had, especially with the manager here [in England], playing centrally in the center of the pitch is something we want to look at in the future.”

FSG could be set to spend big after another transfer upgrade from Liverpool for Leroy Sane, who according to The Mirror is the Reds’ main transfer target at Anfield, amid uncertainty over Salah’s future at Anfield due to strong interest from the Saudi Pro League club.

Liverpool are reportedly willing to spend their record fee of £80m on Darwin Nunez in the summer of 2022 to bring the Bayern Munich winger back to the Premier League.

Sane has excelled for German giants Bayern Munich so far this season, scoring seven goals in his first 11 appearances in all competitions (stats from Leroy Sane – Transfermarkt).

Described as “incredible” by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola in 2019, Sane has averaged 5.1 successful dribbles and 3.3 shots per game in the German top flight this season (Leroy Sane Stats – WhoScored).

While Salah could move into new roles in the near future, Sané could be an ideal replacement to replicate the Egypt international’s explosiveness in the final third, making this a game to watch.
