Star of the QLD Cup Grand Final signs an NRL Top 30 contract.

Star of the QLD Cup Grand Final Tony Francis has signed a contract extension with the Gold Coast Titans for an additional two seasons.

Francis is coming off of a fantastic performance for the Burleigh Bears in the QLD Cup Grand Final, during which he scored a hat-trick but was unable to secure the victory.

He was previously on the Gold Coast Titans development list, and he will now join the Top 30 squad for the 2024 season.

Having played 42 games in reserve grade over the last two seasons, he enters the Top 30 with aspirations of making his NRL debut in the upcoming season.

The young outside back will have to compete for a starting spot in the backline with players like Keano Kini, Brian Kelly, Aaron Schoupp, Phillip Sami, and her good friend Alofiana Khan-Pereira.

He was chosen for the Tonga A team squad and is a candidate to play for the team when they face New Zealand A on October 21.

He will return to pre-season on the Gold Coast in November.

The Gold Coast Titans’ Top 30 roster for the 2024 season is now filled, as a result of his signature.
