Ryan Sessegnon appears to be facing a defining period in his Tottenham career as he nears a return from a hamstring injury.
TheDaily Mail reports that the 23-year-old has returned to light training following surgery in the summer.
The report states that he is still several weeks away from returning to Tottenham. Ryan Sessegnon has had a turbulent time at Tottenham.
And it looked like he might have gotten the green light to leave in the previous window. The Sun reported on Sunday that Sessegnon had collapsed at Nottingham Forest after suffering his latest injury.
This shows that Sessegnon still has a long way to go if he wants to succeed at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. But his return should now give Spurs a big boost.
Sessegnon faces a battle to return to the Tottenham squad. Destiny Udogie has been a revelation early in this campaign.
And it seems to perfectly match Ange Postecoglou’s style.But Tottenham find themselves in a precarious position following the news that Ivan Perisic has himself been seriously injured.
In fact, The Athletic reported that Perisic is expected to miss the rest of the season.It’s a big blow to potentially lose the Croatian for the rest of the season.
