‘On fire’: Virgil van Dijk and Adrian blown away by Liverpool defender after West Ham win

Virgil van Dijk and Adrian praised Joe Gomez after putting in another strong performance in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over West Ham United on Sunday.

He’s not first choice under Jurgen Klopp, but injuries have opened the door for Joe Gomez to start more games than usual, including at right-back for Trent Alexander-Arnold against the Hammers.

The 26-year-old took to Instagram to tell fans after yesterday’s game at Anfield that he had ‘gone home with three points’.

It’s another win to knock second-placed Liverpool out of the list. Tim Sherwood supports the team in the fight for the title.

If Manchester City continue on their current path, it is pretty obvious that they will win another title. But if they are to be stopped, teams like Liverpool need luck due to injuries as their team is clearly not as strong as the current treble winners.

In the comments section of Gomez’s IG post, goalkeeper Adrian wrote: “On fire my English Cafu,” while Virgil van Dijk simply responded with fire emojis.
Good start from Liverpool

Given that this is Liverpool 2.0, the main objective this season would have been to regain the Champions League places after the difficulties of the previous season.

But given that the Reds were the last team outside of Manchester City to win the title and are currently in second place, the target should certainly be raised.

Yes, Jurgen Klopp doesn’t have the team strength to take on Manchester City, but he has the firepower to do it.

Clarence Seedorf advises Liverpool player for a ‘great career’

Clarence Seedorf gave Ryan Gravenberch some good advice and Liverpool signed the midfielder this summer.

Speaking to FUTBin, the Dutch football legend predicted that the 21-year-old would return to form after a year of his career at Bayern Munich and that Gravenberch would move to Liverpool.

The youngster was considered one of Europe’s most exciting talents before leaving Ajax in 2022 and many expect Gravenberch to return to his best at Liverpool.

The Dutch international impressed on his debut for the Reds against LASK last week and Seedorf now believes Gravenberch can have a good career after leaving Bayern.

The AC Milan and Ajax Amsterdam legend said: “Everyone is unique, Ryan started early, he was the one who broke my record at Ajax as the youngest player to debut, This involves great responsibility.”

“He’s on his way, I believe in him, I think he can have a great career. Let him go his own way, everyone has their own destiny.

Gravenberch must fulfill his potential at Liverpool for Seedorf

The motivation of a legend as great as Seedorf should be enough to inspire Gravenberch towards success at Anfield and that is exactly what the midfielder should be aiming for.

The 21-year-old has been handed a second career lifeline following his move from Bayern to Merseyside and Liverpool can offer Gravenberch the perfect platform to succeed.

We are all aware of Gravenberch’s potential and the midfielder must now flourish after a year at Bayern, with Liverpool better suited to the young player’s game.
