Burnley seeks their first points in the Premier League. Girona are chasing their fourth consecutive win in Spain

A look at what’s happening in European football on Monday:

The three teams promoted to the Premier League – Burnley, Luton and Sheffield United – are winless so far with just one point between them.

No point Burnley look to turn the tables on Monday at Nottingham Forest. Vincent Kompany’s Burnley have conceded the most goals (11) in the competition after just three games.

Luton have lost four in a row and Sheffield United have four defeats and a 2-2 draw at home to struggling Everton. Burnley can take some hope from their 1-0 win at Forest in the League Cup last month.

Surprise Girona team look to win their fourth consecutive match when they visit Granada in the Spanish league.

The Catalan club beat Getafe, Sevilla and Las Palmas after opening with a draw at Real Sociedad.

Another victory would put Girona at the top of the table. Granada are bottom of the table after three defeats in their first four matches. The latest setback was the 5-3 defeat at Sociedad

Hellas Verona will try to recover from their first defeat of the season when they host Bologna.

Verona defeated Empoli and Roma before losing to Sassuolo before the international break. Bologna lost their opening match against Milan, but secured an impressive draw at Juventus before beating Cagliari.

Salernitana is still looking for its first victory of the season and hosts Torino, who defeated Genoa in the last round. ___
