Cody Gakpo scored the equalizer before Andy Robertson fired in not long after to make it 2-1. Harvey Elliott then sealed the win with a shot from the edge of the penalty area.
And as he watched, former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher admitted he was happy with what Elliott showed.

Elliott’s impact off the bench was once again excellent. The former Fulham youngster is proving to be a top player this season and Jürgen Klopp will be delighted.
And straight after the match, Carragher took to social media and praised Elliott, who he called “excellent”, on his X account.
Elliott, who reportedly earns £40,000-a-week at Anfield, has proven to be a good addition for Liverpool since they priced him out of Fulham.
And if he can continue to score goals like he did today, he could be a very valuable player for the Reds as the season progresses.

There have always been glimpses of how good Harvey Elliott is, and it looks like he could show even more of that this year.
It will still be a difficult task for Elliott to break into the Liverpool team on a regular basis.
But if he can keep doing what he’s doing and force Klopp into action, then he could become a regular.
Elliott is still a young man and has a long career ahead of him. But this looks like a big season for him where he can really show why the club brought him in.
