Collingwood FC Welcomes Harry Perryman to the New Team
In a major AFL trade development, Collingwood Football Club has officially welcomed GWS free agent Harry Perryman as their newest recruit for the 2025 season. The 25-year-old utility has elected the Magpies as his preferred destination, marking a significant move in the current trade period. Perryman, an unrestricted free agent, is free to make the switch without any restrictions from the Giants, who will receive compensation for his departure.
Perryman had been a target for multiple clubs, including Port Adelaide, Hawthorn, and Essendon, but ultimately chose Collingwood, providing a major boost to head coach Craig McRae’s team. The 2023 premiers will only see the move impact their salary cap, with no trade assets required.
The Magpies’ focus now shifts to retaining key players, including Joe Richards, who has an offer from Port Adelaide, while defender John Noble is expected to join the Gold Coast Suns after requesting a trade to Queensland.
With the AFL trade period heating up, Collingwood’s newest addition, Harry Perryman, is set to play a pivotal role in the club’s 2025 campaign.
