Michael Jordan, the legendary Chicago Bulls star, is widely regarded as the greatest of all time (GOAT). Jordan’s illustrious career includes six NBA championships and six NBA Finals MVP awards.

His dominance on the court was undeniable, and his influence on the game extended far beyond statistics.

The No. 23 jersey he wore for the Bulls has become synonymous with greatness, and the team retired it in his honor.

However, the GOAT debate continues to rage on, with other NBA legends like Shaquille O’Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, Kobe Bryant, and current superstars like Steph Curry and LeBron James also being considered.

During an appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, Johnson was asked whether LeBron James could surpass Michael Jordan as the GOAT. Johnson, known for his candidness, responded with a clear preference.

“I don’t know, it might take a couple more championships to do that,” Johnson said when asked if LeBron could eventually surpass Jordan.

He acknowledged LeBron’s special talent but emphasized that Jordan remains his pick for the best of all time.

“LeBron is special, and I don’t want people always getting mad-we’ve got to celebrate both guys,” Johnson explained. “Michael is the best, and we should celebrate him and celebrate LeBron.”

Johnson emphasized the importance of appreciating both players without diminishing their greatness.

However, when pressed to choose, Johnson firmly sided with Jordan. “If you come at me and ask me, that’s who I am going with, and it’s MJ,” Johnson concluded.
