Pitt Softball Announces Fall Schedule

The 2024 fall schedule was unveiled by Allard on Monday morning. Pitt’s Panthers are set to compete in eight games, which includes a match against Penn State on October 12th at the Little League Girls with Game Experience in Williamsport, Pa. Seven games will be held at Vartabedian Field and are open to the public.

The Panthers will welcome Kent State (Sept. 15), IUP (Sept. 22), Frostburg State (Sept. 28), Mercyhurst and Glenville State (Sept. 29), Saint Francis (Oct. 4), and Robert Morris (Oct. 5) this fall.

The fall season will conclude for the Panthers at Lamade Stadium for the Little League Girls with Game Experience. Before facing the Nittany Lions in an exhibition game at 4:30 p.m., Pitt softball players will volunteer at the Youth Softball Clinic on Saturday morning. The game will be shown on the Little League YouTube channel. Jordan Dail, the assistant coach and a two-time WPF champion, will be part of the Little League Softball Coaches’ Clinic on Friday, October 11, to kick off the weekend festivities.

The Little League® Girls with Game Initiative, launched in 2019, is committed to recognizing all the girls and women who have contributed to the Little League program’s success, as well as those who inspire the future generation of female participants at all levels.
