John Wall Reacts To The Newest Signing By The San Antonio Spurs

Former NBA star John Wall responded to the news that the San Antonio Spurs are signing Brandon Boston Jr.

Boston Jr., who is coming off his third NBA season, averaged 5.2 points and 1.6 rebounds per game with the Los Angeles Clippers, shooting 40.4% from the field. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the 22-year-old guard will join the Spurs and compete for a roster spot.

John Wall took to Instagram to share his excitement about the move, posting a screenshot of Scotto’s announcement and commenting, “Yessir bro @brandonboston ‼️” Wall and Boston Jr. were briefly teammates on the Clippers during the 2022-23 season and both played college basketball at Kentucky.

Throughout his career, Boston Jr. has averaged 6.2 points and 1.8 rebounds per game over 105 regular-season appearances. He has also shown strong performances in the G League, including a standout season where he averaged 25.0 points and shot 50.0% from beyond the arc.

John Wall, a five-time NBA All-Star, has played 11 seasons with the Wizards, Rockets, and Clippers.
